A recent graduate from Edinburgh College of Art Rebecca Vigers also grew up in Edinburgh and has always been influenced by her surroundings, from local allotment buildings to the hundreds of artefacts housed in the National Museum of Scotland. Colour is an integral element to Rebecca’s work, which she continues to explore through the use of enamel techniques within her jewellery.

Deliciously irreverent jewellery by Rebecca Wilson is crafted in her studio in Leith, Edinburgh. Trained originally as a ceramicist Rebecca has recently re-trained and embarked on a career in jewellery. Her work in silver and mixed materials aims to glamorise the little treats we allow ourselves, that which tempts us and that which we choose to indulge in. Humble confectionaries and cakes are re-imagined in precious metals, colourful gemstones and luxurious creamy porcelain so that each glittering biscuit or sweetie becomes a sparkling gem-like accessory.
